Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,
Welcome back to our fourth and final term for the 2023 school year. We have certainly hit the ground running in what is going to be a very busy term.
We have lots of events coming up this term so it will be vital that you are regularly checking our communication sources.
Weekly Masses
Our year level masses are held each Thursday at 9.30am. Entry and sign in is via the Multipurpose room door. All attendees are asked to enter from Gate B which will be opened at 9.15am.
School Concert: Tuesday 21st November.
Rehearsals and preparation for our school concert is in full swing with children learning dances via STOMP each Monday for the first 5 weeks of term. Miss Grumley is working with our lead characters each week as well. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 16th October. A reminder that sales are restricted to 2 tickets per show per family so that we can allow for all families to attend.
F-2 Swimming Program
Our F-2 students will begin their swimming program on Monday 16th October for 2 weeks. Please note this is Monday-Thursday each week. Parents are welcome to attend and watch their children swim. However please note parents or staff are not able to enter the change rooms whilst children are getting dressed.
Grandparents Day
Grandparents day will be held on Wednesday 1st November starting at 11.30am. Information will be coming out via SIMON by the end of the week. Please keep an eye out for this.
Official Opening & Blessing
We will be holding the Official Opening & Blessing of our new buildings on Thursday 2nd November at 2.30pm.

New emergency care option for the Latrobe Valley
Latrobe Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) provides free GP-led care to people who need urgent care, but not an emergency response.
They provide urgent care for injuries and illnesses including:
- mild to moderate infections
- fever
- pain when urinating
- suspected fractures and sprains
- back and muscle pain
- minor cuts, burns, and insect or animal bites
- heartburn, vomiting, nausea
- headaches, migraines and brief fainting
- constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain
- allergies and rashes
- light bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy
- mild to moderate asthma attacks, coughs and other respiratory symptoms
No appointment is needed.
The Latrobe PPCC may prove a better alternative to the hospital emergency department for you and your family if you need urgent – but non-life threatening – care.
