Dear Parents, Guardians & Carers,
Congratulations to all of our students who have competed in sporting events over the first 2 weeks of school. I would like to make special mention to: Sierra Colantuono, Aaliyah Judilla, Ceili Coulthard, Jack Marino and Jerzey Podmore who all ran fantastically at the State Cross Country in week 1 of the term. Also to our grade 5/6 Footy and Soccer teams who represented us at the Regional Finals in Sale on Wednesday this week. You all represented our school wonderfully. An extra big Congratulations to both the boys and girls soccer teams who have now won through to the State Finals to be held in Melbourne in September.
School Uniform Update
In consultation with the Leadership Team and School Advisory Committee we have decided to introduce the following changes to our current school uniform.
We will be adding a grey skort to the girls uniform. This can be worn in both summer and winter. In summer it can be worn with our blue polo shirt and blue socks. In winter it can be worn with our blue polo shirt and grey tights. These will be available in sizes 4-16. We are currently awaiting for the stock to arrive and we will notify you when they become available.
In regards to the choice of jumpers. Children will now have the option of wearing the V Neck jumper or the windcheater (traditionally worn on sports days) with their winter or summer uniform.
Please also note the spray jackets are not to be worn indoors.
Student Illness
We thank you for your ongoing support in keeping children who are sick away from school until they have recovered. We know it is challenging for you to manage. As COVID-19 is still present in our community we continue to ask that unwell students get tested and remain at home until their symptoms resolve and seek medical assistance as required.
We encourage parents, guardians and carers to keep children home if they are displaying any of the following symptoms:
- fever
- chills or sweats
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose
- loss of sense of smell or taste
In certain circumstances headache, muscle soreness, stuffy nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea may also be considered.
Kind regards,
Michelle

Signing children in and out of school
If your child needs to leave early, or has an appointment, then parents must sign in when they return/arrive. A note must be supplied to the classroom teacher so that they are aware of why the child is leaving and they can then record the absence. Alternatively this can be entered as PNA via PAM.
If your child is unwell to speed up their recovery by not allowing your child to return to school until they are fully recovered.
