ANZAC DAY

ANZAC DAY 2021
ANZAC Day 2021 looked very different to last year. We had a number of student participate in the march in varying groups.
On Sunday 25th April, 21 Traralgon Girl guides marched in the Traralgon ANZAC parade. Four of the Girl Guides who attend the march are students at St Gabriel's Primary School. The girls attend Girl Guides once a week to undertake a variety of fun activities that focus on self-development in areas of practical skills, physical development and relationships with people, appropriate to age and interests. If you would like more information on joining Girl Guides please contact amanda.clark@guidesvic.org.au
St Gabriel's was represented in the march by Zoe Day, Jemima Wilkie, Zoe Crawford, Ivy Crawford, Tessa Phillips, Sienna Vivian, Jack Marino, and our School Captains Jasmine Hanratty, Lara Landels, Xavier Giblett and Becky Boers who laid a wreath a the cenotaph on behalf of our school. A number of the students who marched proudly displayed medals of family members who have served Australia in the defence forces.
